New years is my favorite time of year.
All of the excitement that a new year offers: the hopes, dreams and goals that come along with that beautiful scent of change. And resolutions bring all of those wonderful ideas into happy harmony with the side of me that LOVES planning.
I think, deep down, all of us wish we could be a little more environmentally friendly. We all know that we need to keep the earth around for us and future generations, but sometimes don’t know where to start.
I’ve decided it’s time to start now, and I’ll figure it out as I go!
That’s where Waste-less comes in
Each month I’ll focus on a different aspect of life and the little changes that anyone can make to waste less! The idea is to take it one step at a time, and by the end of the year those little steps will add up to a big life change. Every bit counts.
The first post of the month will be filled with tips about that month’s focus. Some of these post will also have fun stuff like:
- Free Printables
- and more!
Then, at the end of the month I’ll share our experiences with those changes and any tips or disasters we ran into along the way. I’d also love to hear how your month went!
Not all of these changes will stay with our family for the whole year. While that’s the goal, sometimes things just aren’t going to work for the long term, and that’s ok! Moderation is important, and you don’t want to upset your family’s balance too much.
I hope you enjoy joining me on this adventure!

While I am doing this with the support of my family, my man won’t be joining me in every endeavor. We all have our sticking points and his will be different from mine. The important thing is that every little bit matters!
